During the morning we have some regular weekly activities, currently toddler groups on a Monday and a Thursday. Other mornings consist of activities in and around the home (free-play and planned activities linked to our current theme) along with trips to the park, to Windmill Hill, to see the ducks etc. Activities are tailored to each child, based on their interests and developmental needs.


Lunch is a light meal. Meal examples are sandwiches with tomato and cucumber, cheese on toast with grilled tomato, boiled egg and beans on toast followed by fruit and a yogurt.


Early afternoon tends to be sleep-time for younger children and an opportunity to play complex games and do tricky jigsaws and puzzles with older children.

We have a healthy afternoon snack and then the children have free-play either inside or outside in our safe, enclosed garden. If the children like, we have a half-hour TV time before tea.


Tea is a healthy and nutritious home-cooked meal, using fresh ingredients. Meal examples are pasta bolognaise, salmon with rice and vegetables, roasted chicken with roast potatoes and vegetables, cheese omelette with jacket potato, mushrooms and grilled tomato, casserole with mashed potato and vegetables.


Hours are normally 8am-6pm although I welcome children from 7.30/7.45 on request.

Healthy snacks (fruit, cheese) are provided and I will also accommodate any dietary requirements. Drinking water is available at all times; each child has their own individual cup.
